The new board of Europea Netherlands was installed in Wageningen on Tuesday, September 6th.

The new board of Europea Netherlands was installed in Wageningen on Tuesday, September 6th.

Two board members resign, three new take office. The new board members were elected by the Assembly of Europea Netherlands, last June. After the transfer meeting the new board was officially installed.
 
The new board members are: Ilse Terpstra of Terra, Karin Elferink of Helicon and Jan Jeronimus of Wellantcollege. They fill in the blanks on the board and, together with Paul Gehlen of Citaverde and Harry Meijer of Groene Welle, will steer Europea Netherlands in the coming years.
 
Evelien Kist of Terra, treasurer since 1993, and Ton Stok of Wellantcollege, Chairman since 1999, have resigned. Ton and Evelyn have committed themselves for many years to Europea Netherlands and Europea  International.
 
Along with Madelon de Beus of Stoas Wageningen, founder (1993) and advisory board member, they will remain available to share their experience with the new youngsters.

Europea Netherlands is part of Europea International is an association working for the development of vocational education and training (VET) in the green sector of Europe. At present, Europea International organizes 24 national Europea networks, which represent more than 1.000 vocational schools and institutions all over Europe.
 
Europea Netherlands was established in 1993, one year after Europea International. The collaboration has led to a strong network of coordinators in the Netherlands and Europe and to several successful projects with and for students and colleagues.
